I quit facebook.  I woke up the morning of the election, read all the vitriol coming from both sides, and promptly deactivated my account.  And other than one brief moment on the second day, I haven't missed it at all.  There are a handful of people that are inspiring or funny or interesting there.  Maybe like five people.  And I'll miss them.  The rest of the people I really care about I have other contact to through email, phones, or (dare I suggest?) real life.  I feel like my brain has been emptying from all the useless information it had gathered about people's lives.  Best decision ever.

Perhaps this will mean that I will turn to this blog more.  Maybe it won't.
