Dirty bathrooms and other stuff.

Here are some observations.

1.  Boys make a bathroom far dirtier than girls do, at least in this house.  Never in all my single years did I make a bathroom as dirty as my bathroom has been the last 8 months. I told him I may make it his eternal job to clean it since he's making the mess.

2.  I secretly like planning menus and making dinner.  It can be a chore and I don't like doing all of the parts all by myself all of the time.  But there is some satisfaction in planning and making food that your family likes.  It's fun.

3.  Men are really just little boys at heart.  They want to know you love them, no matter what.  Kids want this too, even when they're an 11 year old girl who is going on 21.  I need lots of love too.

4.  I'm thinking of making my new mantra, "I control nothing and no one except me."  That's the tricky thing about living in a family.  Really, you're only ever the boss of you even though you have emotional investment in all these other people.

5.  I'm far more of a hermit now than I ever was before.  I am now validated in my introversion since my best friend comes home to me and we don't have to go to social functions if we don't wanna.

6.  I'm so effing glad I'm done with dating.  I never liked it.  Ever.
