The youngest loves deeply, but that also means she's the most likely to get her feelings hurt. So today she was throwing a series of temper tantrums about (what seemed to me) insignificant things. Like socks.
I told her she had a choice to change her attitude or not go to the store with her dad. She initially chose to stay and then changed her mind. I almost made her stick to her first decision, but decided I was too angry and it was better for both of us if she left.
They were gone for less than a half hour and when they walked back in, I held out my arms. She walked right in them. I told her I was sorry, and she said she was too.
